TIME AUDIT · START WITH ONE DAY · THEN CALCULATE ONE WEEK
Where Does Your Time Go?
What does the way you use your time reveal about what you value?
Use this as an honest comparison between what you say you value and how you actually use your time.
HOW TO COMPLETE THE AUDIT
One day, one week, compare.
- 01One Day
Choose one typical day and estimate the hours you spend in each category. Your day should total 24 hours.
- 02One Week
Calculate or estimate a full week. Adjust for weekends and activities that do not happen every day. Your week should total 168 hours.
- 03Compare
Compare your actual use of time with the values you identified in the Values Exercise.
ONE DAY → ONE WEEK
Start with a typical day. Build the full week.
| Activity | Hours / day | Hours / week | % of week |
|---|---|---|---|
| Total | 0 | 0 | 0% |
Quick checks: Day = 24 hours · Week = 168 hours · Hours / week ÷ 168 = % of week. Do not simply multiply every daily number by 7—adjust for weekends and activities that happen only on certain days.
ALIGN YOUR TIME WITH WHAT YOU VALUE
Reflect without guilt.
Use your day-and-week audit as a diagnostic tool—not a guilt exercise. Look for patterns, alignment, and one faithful adjustment.
